This measures the number of individuals participating in Australian seasonal work programme (SWP).
Concept

Australian Government’s seasonal worker Programme assists employers from selected Pacific island countries including Vanuatu in the form of agriculture in terms of different farming and accommodation sector to fill employment gaps unable to be met by local Australian workforce. It also contributes to the economic development of the employee.
Rationale

  • Information collected will determine future research on the impacts of labour mobility in Vanuatu.
